AGOA Eligible Countries:

Hosting the AGOA Forum and Made in South Africa offers numerous benefits:

Economic Opportunities:

Attracting US and African officials, business leaders, and investors, South Africa can showcase its economic potential, inviting foreign investment, fostering partnerships, and driving economic growth.

Regional Integration:

Strategically located in southern Africa, South Africa can use the event to strengthen regional cooperation, discussing trade facilitation, regulatory harmonization, and regional value chains.

Networking & Diplomacy:

Hosting the AGOA Forum allows South Africa to engage in diplomatic and networking opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, influencing discussions, and advocating for its interests.

Knowledge Exchange:

Business seminars offer opportunities for South African experts to share experiences, best practices, and innovative solutions, contributing to capacity building in the region.
In summary, hosting the event in South Africa presents an excellent chance to spotlight the country’s economic potential, boost trade and investment, enhance regional integration, and foster diplomatic ties. This benefits South Africa and the entire African continent’s economic development.
